My name is Dharminder Singh, and I come from Punjab, India — a land known for its resilience and never-giving-up spirit.
My father came to the United States 24 years ago — with courage and sacrifice. Watching him build his life in America taught me everything about hard work and serving others with honor.
When I started driving for Lyft, I quickly realized something that bothered me deeply — driving wasn’t a choice for most drivers, it was a compulsion. They deserved better wages, better respect, and better opportunities.
At the same time, I noticed something unfair for customers too. A business professional paying premium prices deserved a true premium experience — not an SUV that was also running X category rides. That’s not fair to the customer who paid for something better.
These two things kept bothering me — until I decided to do something about it.
In 2024, I founded Meter to Miles LLC — built on one simple belief:
